Lead AI Developer

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced developer to lead the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong engineering foundations, at least 8+ years of experience writing production software (ideally Python), and a solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, Git workflows, and code-review best practices.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing modular Python libraries and CLI that expose core agent primitives – task graphs, skills, memory, and tool interfaces.
  • Implementing scalable orchestration layers (Celery, Argo Workflows, Prefect, or similar) that run multi-step CV pipelines with retry, rollback, and SLA guarantees.
  • Integrating vector and hybrid search stores so agents can retrieve data during execution.
  • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive test suites, and infrastructure-as-code so the agent platform ships reliably on a bi-weekly cadence.
  • Wrapping best-in-class vision components (OpenCV, TorchVision, MMDetection, Ultralytics YOLO, Albumentations, etc.) so agents can call data-prep, augmentation, model-zoo, and metric utilities on demand.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to drive efficiency and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • At least 8+ years of experience in software development, ideally with Python as the primary programming language.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with code-review best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with agent frameworks, including designing or extending agent stacks.
  • Proficiency in workflow schedulers or task queues (Prefect, Argo Workflows, Airflow, Dagster, Celery).
  • Practical exposure to training and evaluating CV models (classification, detection, segmentation) and understanding of data-quality pitfalls.
  • Ability to build automated test/evaluation harnesses using pytest, MLflow, wandb, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to vector and hybrid search technologies, including Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or FAISS.
  • Knowledge of model serving and packaging frameworks, including TorchServe, Triton, BentoML, ONNX Runtime.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Cloud fluency, preferably with experience in one or more providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
