Structural CAD Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural CAD Engineer to fill this position in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, with expertise in structural analysis and drafting using AutoCAD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, maintaining drawing files, and providing technical support to the production and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and detailed shop drawings based on specifications and calculations
  • Maintain quality control and company standards
  • Develop and maintain a drawing numbering system and control revisions
  • Provide technical support to production and construction teams

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in steel structure detailing is preferred
  • Knowledge of Tekla Structures software is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and drafting
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills
