Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

As an Equipment and Test Specialist at Micron, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in your assigned area. You will work closely with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors to ensure that our manufacturing processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (preferred)
  • Knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies (preferred)
  • Able to work on 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Candidate must be a team player with good communication skills, positive mentality, and good interpersonal skills
