Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor SIEM/XDR tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) for security alerts and analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security tools to identify malicious activity.
  2. Perform initial investigation and classification of security events (malware, phishing, DDoS) and execute predefined playbooks for containment.
  3. Apply threat intelligence feeds to contextualize alerts and monitor dark web/IoC sources for emerging threats relevant to the organization.
  4. Document incidents in ticketing systems with timelines, actions taken, and evidence and generate daily shift reports highlighting threat trends, false positives, and system health.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience & Skills: More than one year in security monitoring or more than 2 years in IT support/networking with security exposure. Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR platforms, security tools, and OS security.
  • Understanding of Networking, common attack vectors, and Cloud security fundamentals.
