Market Risk System Analyst

Upskills is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk System Analyst to join our team in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe region. As a Market Risk System Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing expert financial software consulting services to investment banks and leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user requirements and assist in test execution.
  • Prepare functional specifications, work closely with the development team to clarify functional changes, prepare test cases, and execute them.
  • Communicate effectively and independently with project managers, developers, and business users, as well as external vendors.
  • Responsible for doing requirement analysis in the Middle Office space for various asset classes.
  • Ability to analyze and understand product requirements and offer solutions and support to facilitate the rollouts.
  • Work closely with the Middle Office business to gather requirements in VaR modules, MRAL reporting, FRTB computation, and reporting in the Murex system.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Financial Engineering or Applied Finance, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Murex Middle office and Risk modules of Mx 3.3 platform.
  • Exposure to Financial Markets and Derivative products.
  • Detailed knowledge of Murex Front/Middle office and Risk modules.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting.
  • Ability to lead and manage the delivery of tasks to schedule.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.
  • Proactive with high organization skills.
  • Outstanding communication with the maturity to interact across senior people from the customer.
