Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Software Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team in Singapore. As a senior member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-throughput distributed systems that drive our trading infrastructure forward.


The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building scalable, real-time systems with 99.9% uptime. Proficiency in Golang is preferred, but Rust, Python, or C++ will also be considered. Strong knowledge of asynchronous processing, pub-sub architectures, websockets, and batch systems is essential.


You will work closely with the founding team to make high-impact technical decisions and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the engineering team. If you have a proven track record of delivering practical solutions and are passionate about financial systems, we encourage you to apply.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features across our trading infrastructure.
  • Expand platform capabilities to support additional asset classes.
  • Contribute to the development of core trading strategies around retail order flow.
  • Collaborate directly with the founding team on high-impact technical decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building high-throughput, real-time distributed systems with 99.9% uptime.
  • Proficiency in Golang, Rust, Python, or C++.
  • Strong background in asynchronous processing, pub-sub architectures, websockets, and batch systems.
  • Expertise in database scalability and systems-level performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code in AWS (e.g., Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Product-oriented problem solver with a focus on delivering practical, user-driven solutions.
