Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Placement who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employability of students across various academic programs. Our institution offers a wide range of programs, including Management, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Engineering, and Law.

  • The successful candidate will establish and nurture strong corporate relationships, forge industry tie-ups, and create placement opportunities for students in various courses.
  • Crafting a strategic roadmap to optimize students' chances of securing internships and employment, engaging with corporate entities.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive placement strategy and fostering collaborations with industries for placements and internships.
  • Cultivating relationships with top recruiters and HR professionals; organizing recruitment drives and career development activities.
  • Collaborating with faculty and student coordinators; overseeing soft skills training and interview preparation programs.
  • Monitoring placement statistics and alumni progress; representing the institution at job fairs and networking events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A Master's degree (preferably an MBA) with over 10 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
  • A successful track record in managing placements at a reputable university or institute.
  • A robust network within the HR and recruitment domain and experience engaging with companies across diverse sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
