We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing electrical servicing, equipment maintenance, fault finding, and repairs following work instructions and standards.
About the Role
This is a field-based position that requires the ability to travel as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel generators, distribution panels, switchgears, and other electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment including diesel generators, distribution panels, switchgears, and other associated systems.
- Performing routine inspections and tests on electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults and defects.
- Repairing and replacing faulty or damaged electrical components.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Min Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in the Electrical field, experience in the Mechanical field a plus.
- Technically competent, preferably within a Power Generation Environment.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel generators, distribution panels, switchgears.
