Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves ensuring compliance with ISO standards by maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS). The specialist will oversee performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and subcontractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the company's continuous improvement program.
  • Conduct QMS briefings for new employees and deliver quality-related training programs.
  • Develop, implement, and improve the QMS documents, review and improve existing QMS documentation for best practices.
  • Plan and manage internal and external quality audits, follow up on audit findings until closure.
  • Manage the nonconformity process, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
  • Prepare management review slides, perform analysis, and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Generate and analyze quality monthly reports, identify top quality issues, and track closure.
  • Manage department KPI reporting, follow-up, verification, and analysis.
  • Manage customer satisfaction reporting and analysis, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintenance, preferably in the maritime sector.
  • Degree in Engineering (Marine/Mechanical or related field).
  • Proficiency in conducting internal and subcontractor audits according to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience in root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and various quality tools.
  • Experience in data analysis and suggestion for improvement.
