Job Title:
Cabinet Maker

Job Description:
Expert woodworkers are sought after to build and repair a variety of structures and fixtures in the construction industry. This includes furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills. They will work independently or as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools.

• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools.

• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.

• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen to ensure projects are completed on time and efficiently.

• Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working order.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent training.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or related field.

• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
