Electrical Systems Specialist Job Overview

The Electrical Systems Specialist role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to lead electrical design projects from concept to completion.

This position requires a high level of expertise in electrical systems design, including load calculation, single-line diagram (SLD) design, cable scheduling, cable routing, and instrument hookup. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform front-end engineering design and detailed engineering design work for electrical systems, including drawings and relevant documents.
  • Develop and manage bill of materials (BOM), schedules, and procurement plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to deliver technical solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Support project implementation by attending site visits and resolving field issues.
  • Lead testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning as designed.
  • Monitor and update project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage punch lists to ensure project completion meets quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad Plant 3D software.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related fields.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Honesty, responsibility, and organizational skills.
