As a Dental Surgery Assistant at Q & M Dental Group (Singapore) Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinics. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Reception Duties:
  • Attend to Patient Enquiries: Respond promptly and courteously to all patient inquiries, whether received through phone calls or walk-ins.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Register patients for appointments or walk-in treatment, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Discharge and Payment: Discharge patients after treatment, collect accurate payments, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Financial Transactions: Process payments accurately, either by cash, credit cards, or other accepted methods.
  • Data Entry: Enter consultation and treatment fees, as well as sales of products, into the computer system accurately.
  • Printing and Filing: Print receipts, tax invoices, and medical certificates from the computer, and file patients' treatment cards correctly.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the clinic at all times.
  • Supply Management: Check and receive delivery of clinic supplies from approved vendors, and pack supplies and medications in the prescribed manner.
Assisting the Doctor:
  • Support to Doctors: Provide assistance to doctors on duty as and when required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and instruments in good working condition.
  • Treatment Room Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of treatment rooms at all times.
  • Lab Coordination: Send, receive, and monitor cases sent to the laboratory.
  • Patient Testing: Perform certain tests on patients as and when required.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company, doctors, clinic supervisors, or the Assistant Manager of the clinic.
