Job Description

Fund Accountant Role at SS&C Technologies Holdings

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management
    • Provide high-quality fund administration services to clients, maintain strong relationships, and interact with clients, legal counsels, auditors, and tax advisors to meet deadlines.
    • Assist in the operational onboarding of new clients, including coordinating client acceptance and agreement on services delivery.
    • Drive the execution of smooth onboarding by furnishing complete onboarding documents to the Compliance team.
  • Accounting
    • Prepare general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and trial balances for multiple international fund clients, adhering to various accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS/US GAAP).
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements and quarterly/year-end closing, including capital call/distribution notices, NAV statements, partners' capital statements, and management accounts.
    • Calculate management fee, carried interest workings, and schedule of waterfall (fund as whole/deal by deal).
    • Facilitate the annual audit of funds, communicate with auditors, and prepare GST Statement of Claims.
  • Operational Efficiency & Team Management
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective processes to improve overall operations.
    • Assist in billing service fees to clients and monitor collection of service fees.
    • Provide technical training and share fund knowledge on fund structures and specifics to team members.
    • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by Managers or clients.
