Software Engineer Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing control system software applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in automation machines, motion control, and IO control. Familiarity with Modbus, TCP, serial port, EtherCAT, CAN bus, and other protocols is required.

A strong background in PC-based control software development and knowledge of C#, PC programming, and Microsoft Visual C# (WPF and Win Form) is essential.

Multithreading programming experience and proficiency in MS SQL or Oracle SQL are also necessary.

In addition, experience with MVVM, PRISM, machine vision/robotic programming, and IEC61131-1 object-oriented extensions is a plus.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting system tests, troubleshooting equipment, preparing documentation, and providing training to customers as needed.

The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to learn and adapt quickly, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Furthermore, the candidate should be knowledgeable about GUI design, software architecture design, and implementation.
