Job Title: Data Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our finance operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage reviews/validation of various distribution reports
  • Ensure end-to-end activities are validated according to business rules, timely, and accurately
  • Analyse data to identify patterns and draw insights to support business decisions
  • Contribute analytical insights into business processes by coordinating different functions and/or stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and provide interim solutions for business continuity
  • Assess new and existing processes for enhancement to enable consistent and comprehensive data aggregation/reporting/processing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Anaplan, Python, Power BI, SQL)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritise/manage multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Courage to make judgement calls, if required
  • Willingness to listen to multiple stakeholders and forge consensus on win-win solutions

Working Experience:

  • 4+ years in data analytics, business analysis, and finance operations preferably in the financial/insurance industry
  • Familiarity with database, cloud, and various FP&A tools

Education:

  • Degree in Finance/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics
