EUROFINS MECHEM PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemist to join our team. As a Senior Chemist, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, quality, technical, health and safety aspects of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test methods and working instructions to ensure compliance with operating manuals.
  • Identify and develop new areas of work and the corresponding test equipment required.
  • Highlight unusual results and refer them for further investigation.
  • Supervise all work related to the section(s) and train and supervise all staff in the section(s).
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure that all equipment in the section(s) are calibrated in compliance to schedule.
  • Ensure that the requirements of SAC-SINGLAS in the field of ENV and C&B Testing are met.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Chemistry, Science or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years relevant working experience.
  • Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
  • May work with potentially hazardous materials.
  • Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top.
  • Work requires use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
