Chartering Manager Position

We are seeking a Chartering Manager to join our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate opportunities, negotiate and finalize charter parties.
  • Manage risk exposure via FFA.
  • Collaborate with Operations department to ensure smooth performance of voyages.
  • Stay up-to-date on new trades and ports.
  • Generate and submit performance reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Operating firm.
  • Strong knowledge of supramax/ultramax trades.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactivity, self-reliance, and ownership.
  • Relationship-building abilities.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
