Job Summary

DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Consumer Banking Operations team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable analytics solutions to empower our consumer banking business with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document user requirements to understand customer struggles in the journey and create actionable insights through journey analytics
  • Access and integrate data from multiple sources to create analytical deep-dives using advanced statistical methods
  • Derive business-relevant insights within a horizontal organization and design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end analytics solutions and models
  • Support the full lifecycle of experimentation through journey analytics and machine learning-driven insights
  • Work with cross-functional teams and execute well in a fast-paced and agile environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Excellent hands-on experience in Python, Pyspark, Spark, SQL/mysql, Hadoop ecosystem, and relational databases
  • Experience creating real-time and rich data visualizations that involve large datasets
  • Experience manipulating structured and unstructured data sources for analysis
  • Good understanding of machine learning and NLP concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently with minimal guidance in a cross-functional context
