Medical Laboratory Assistant Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Laboratory Professional to support our laboratory operations. As a Junior Medical Technologist, you will perform routine test procedures with minimal direct supervision.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and guidance to new personnel in their training and development.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory levels of all supplies and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Reviewing daily quality control results and discussing any issues with your section manager.
  • Evaluating instrument performance and reporting any malfunctions.

You will also contribute to flexible staffing arrangements and participate in shift duties. The role requires high standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognized diploma or certificate in medical laboratory technology or a Bachelor of Science degree.
  • At least one year of experience in related medical laboratory work is preferred.
