Lead Manufacturing Operations Manager

Job Overview
:As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will oversee the manufacturing processes at our facility, ensuring the consistent and dependable delivery of products. Your role will involve coordinating production schedules across various departments, fostering collaboration with other teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will be instrumental in realizing the strategic vision for the facility, proactively identifying enhancements to ensure that our processes align with current and future demands regarding workforce skills, product quality, health and safety, growth, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource allocation for manufacturing products that fulfill customer expectations in terms of cost, quality, and timely delivery.Leverage business systems and analytical tools to forecast production capacity and resource needs based on anticipated product demand.Spot opportunities for innovation and process enhancement, aiming to minimize waste and reduce production costs while boosting productivity through lean methodologies and effective problem-solving.Address production challenges by employing structured problem-solving methods to rectify product discrepancies and enhance process reliability.Collaborate with local and global teams to facilitate automation and modifications that improve production workflows and outcomes.Inspire and cultivate a culture of self-direction among managers, supervisors, and team members, encouraging ownership of their respective areas.Build and nurture high-performing teams by selecting and developing talent, providing coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing any emerging issues promptly.Lead change management initiatives while ensuring adherence to quality management systems and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Effectively manage risks and crises, upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance with corporate governance policies to ensure operational continuity.Perform additional duties as required.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.Over 7 years of senior-level leadership and management experience in a relevant industrial environment.Preferred Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience (7+ years) in a similar role within the manufacturing sector, ideally in rubber or pharmaceutical production.Demonstrated operations management expertise overseeing medium to large manufacturing teams, with a focus on process automation and effective operational management.Strong understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma principles.Experience in a cGMP setting.Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.Proficient in business and budget planning.Self-driven, results-oriented mindset.Capability to integrate modern process engineering concepts to tackle complex challenges.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to synthesize data and present findings to senior management.Result-oriented with a high degree of adaptability.Familiarity with relevant standard operating procedures as they pertain to this role.Travel Requirements:
