We are seeking a skilled Property and Casualty Underwriter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and pricing new and renewal business for various property and casualty insurance classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential losses.
- Price new and renewal business for annual and contract insurance classes.
- Handle enquiries and quotation requests from Insurance Intermediaries.
- Ensure timely policy documentation and issuance.
- Enforce standards in policy documentation and compliance with Underwriting standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or University degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- At least two years experience in insurance underwriting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain rapport with insurance intermediaries.
- Strong team player with a passion for excellence.
