Culinary Team Member

An essential member of our culinary team, the Assistant Cook plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our kitchen. This involves assisting senior cooks with food preparation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and contributing to administrative tasks such as managing inventory and supplies.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist senior cooks with food preparation, including cleaning, cutting, chopping, and peeling ingredients, to ensure dishes meet the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment, adhering to industry codes and guidelines, to safeguard the health and well-being of colleagues and customers.
- Operate kitchen equipment and instruments, such as mixers and ovens, safely and efficiently to optimize productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, receiving and storing supplies, and maintaining an organized storeroom to streamline operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to employee productivity by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as the ability to maintain high standards in these areas.
- Ability to prepare a variety of north Indian dishes to meet customer demand and preferences.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
