Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team.

  • This is a permanent position with a standard working week of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

About Us:

Our client is a leading organisation specialising in manufacturing semiconductor machines.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to develop new suppliers for fabrication and structure for semiconductor or automation equipment. This includes precision machining parts, enclosures, sheet-metal, and structures.

The ideal candidate will assess existing suppliers' performance, capacity, and capability and map out a re-alignment strategy to meet current and future growth requirements.

You will also develop cost reduction programs for existing and new suppliers on a periodic basis and share your experience and expertise to build up the strength and competency of colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in an engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical or mechatronics.
  • 2-5 years related working experience, preferably in machine manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in procurement of metal fabrication parts.
  • Some exposure in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
