About the Role
Hatch Asia is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for formulating a comprehensive multi-year sourcing strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan that identifies opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
- Lead sourcing initiatives to secure goods and services at the most economical cost, while ensuring quality, performance, service, and availability standards are met.
- Oversee sourcing deals and contracts, ensuring commercial and cost-saving advantages are realized at the P&L level.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring and evaluating their performance in alignment with contract terms, service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate product categorization and item classification in our ERP system, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing policies and procedures, addressing existing gaps and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and rewards excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline.
- Experience in strategic sourcing of indirect products within the aerospace, manufacturing, or high-tech industry.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing complex supply chains and cost models.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
