We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As an IT security expert, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure architecture solutions to protect our systems and data.

Job Overview

This is a key position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and architectures to safeguard our organization's assets.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture and cyber security, with a strong background in network architecture, systems design, and device configuration. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed security design documentation, meeting regularly with IT architects to ensure alignment between cyber and IT infrastructure, and providing security guidance to business and IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy and cyber security technology roadmaps to ensure a defensible and security-resilient network and systems architecture
  • Design and implement cyber security architecture in accordance with business units, cyber security architects, and IT architects
  • Create, develop, and maintain detailed cyber security design documentation
  • Meet regularly with IT architects to ensure alignment between cyber and IT infrastructure
  • Provide cyber security guidance to business and IT projects
  • Serve as a technological subject matter expert for current and future cyber security protection designs
  • Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments
  • Address technical questions from vendors and project teams regarding the implementation of technology or processes
  • Work with project teams and vendors to establish implementation plans and timelines
  • Responsible for ensuring that any problems or issues get resolved for assigned projects
  • Communicate effectively at different levels within and outside the organization
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, information technology, or related discipline
  • IT certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT architecture/cyber security
  • Knowledge in technology security standards and best practices
  • Knowledge in network architecture and systems design as well as device configuration
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers' (AWS, Azure, and GCP) security architecture
  • Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and authentication/SSO standards
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork attitude
  • Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
