Financial Modelling Expertise

We are seeking a skilled financial modelling professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in creating, analysing and optimising complex financial models using Excel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting financial model audit assignments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
  • Identifying modelling errors using software checks and parallel model development
  • Taking ownership of specific assignments and projects, demonstrating initiative and dedication to achieving high-quality outcomes
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial modelling methodologies and tools
  • Preparing comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies and results
  • Maintaining records of modelling processes and methodologies to uphold high standards and ensure consistency
  • Assisting in developing project plans, timelines and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
  • A good appreciation of accounting concepts
  • An understanding of Project Finance concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
  • Experience with the FAST financial modelling standard is desirable
