We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe Welding Fabricator plays a vital role in fabricating, assembling, and welding components used in the oil and gas industry.
This position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in welding techniques, precision work, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities comply with security, compliance, and health, safety, and environmental policies, laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices.
- Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection, avoiding risks to employees, processes, customers, or communities.
- Seek continual improvement in health, safety, security, and environmental practices, leveraging technology and best practices to exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrate effective safety leadership, especially for supervisors and managers overseeing teams and visitors.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum 2 years' experience in welding and fabrication.
- Techncial certification as a welder.
- Proficiency with hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and TIG welding; MIG experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of quality requirements, cutting torch use, and material-specific welding temperatures.
- Physical ability to respond to emergencies.
