Job Title

A civil engineering drafter is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and detailed plans for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare technical drawings and plans for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and utilities.
  • Interpret engineering sketches and specifications for drafting.
  • Assist in updating drawings based on site conditions and design changes.
  • Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain and organise drawing records and revision logs.
  • Evaluate all drawings for compliance with local standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM or Civil 3D is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with local civil engineering and construction practices.
  • Attention to detail, with good communication and coordination skills.
