About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Data Lakehouse Solutions Specialist to join our OCI Solutions team in APAC. This is an exciting opportunity to drive Oracle Data Platform growth and play a key role in shaping the future of data management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategies for Oracle Data Lakehouse, generating demand for solutions within the market, and delivering sales enablement sessions to internal teams. They will also work closely with customers and partners to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

As a subject matter expert for Data Lakehouse services, you will cover APAC territory and support cloud engineering and partner teams in their cloud pursuits. You will also collaborate with global teams and customers located in multiple geographical locations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define APAC go-to-market strategy for Oracle Data Lakehouse aligned to global guidance
  • Initiate, run, and follow up on business development activities and generate demand for Data Lakehouse solutions within the market
  • Deliver sales enablement sessions to help internal sales teams position Oracle's value proposition
  • Understand customer requirements and convert them into appropriate Oracle solutions
  • Coordinate and contribute hands-on to proof of value/concepts and pilot projects
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations and live demonstrations to meet customer and partner requirements
  • Handle technical objections leveraging deep technical experience
  • Evangelize data lakehouse value proposition at internal and external events
  • Collaborate with Oracle internal teams and partners
  • Gather and share real customer use cases to inform product development, marketing, and sales efforts
  • Measure and track outcomes to assess impact and inform future strategies

About You

  • 8+ years of relevant customer engagements experience
  • Excellent understanding of open source / big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop stack, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience working with common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
  • Hands-on experience creating data architectures and pipelines
  • Good understanding of Cloud Data Lakehouse technologies like Databricks, Azure Data Factory (plus)
  • Strong technical objection handling skills and experience interacting with data engineer, data analyst, and data scientist personas
  • Strong presentation skills and experience interacting with business leaders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of dynamic teams

Salary: SGD 150,000 - SGD 200,000 per annum
