Physiotherapist Role

As a physiotherapist in our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters a sense of belonging and respect among residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and run physiotherapy rehabilitation services in coordination with the Rehab Manager.
  • Conduct patient assessments during admission and periodic reviews to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Institute individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with the TCF care team to ensure holistic health coverage.
  • Contribute to individual care plan formulation and follow-up to ensure continuity of care.
  • Plan and conduct group therapy programs for patients, focusing on social interaction and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy records to track patient progress.
  • Care for dementia patients and manage behavioral issues associated with its onset.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Ops Director to support the overall functioning of the rehabilitation team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Qualified and registered with AHPC.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or eldercare institution; preference given to community settings.
  • Passionate about interacting and caring for seniors, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
