Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at AIK SAN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are executed in accordance with the design, specifications, and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Supervision: To check and ensure that all construction works are executed in accordance with the design, specifications, and codes of practice.
  • Quality Control: To check, coordinate, and integrate all works (architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical and electrical) and highlight any discrepancies to the Superintending Officer.
  • Mock-up Coordination: To check and coordinate mock-ups done on site in accordance with the design and specifications.
  • Progress Monitoring: To monitor and provide weekly reports to the consultants and Superintending Officer on the progress of works to ensure timely completion.
  • Issue Resolution: To liaise and coordinate with Superintending Officer/consultants to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with contractors.
  • Discrepancy Notification: To check and inform the Superintending Officer of any discrepancy between architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical and other drawings with site conditions prior to the commencement of work.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience as a Construction Supervisor, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works in bored piling and temporary works.
  • Certifications: Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
  • Education: A certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course.
  • Skills: Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.
  • Personal Qualities: Pro-active in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit.
