Security is a top priority for our organization, and we are seeking a skilled Chief Security Protection Officer to safeguard our customers around the clock.

This role involves collaborating with experienced engineers to identify and mitigate Application Layer security threats. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking proactive and reactive steps to ensure the security of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking Proactive Measures: Identifying potential security threats and implementing measures to prevent them from occurring.
  • Providing Real-Time Guidance: Offering expert advice to customers on security protocols and defensive security response techniques.
  • Documenting Actions: Maintaining accurate records of security incidents and responses in incident management systems or knowledge bases.
  • Establishing Trust: Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to establish trust and credibility as a security advisor.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with product management and development teams to ensure seamless integration of security features and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Information Systems Security or a related field is required.
  • Experience with Web Application Firewalls: At least 1-2 years of experience administering Web Application Firewalls is necessary.
  • Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with programming or scripting languages is essential.
  • Network Technologies: Understanding of common enterprise network technologies, including TCP/IP networks and log file analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as tcpdump, tshark, Wireshark, hping, scapy, iptables, apachebench, and tcpreplay is required.
  • Familiarity with F5 Hardware and Software: Experience with F5 hardware and software, including Big-IP, TMOS, iRules, iApps, iControl, etc.
  • Fundamental Linux Skills: Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex security data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional support to customers.
