Principal Research Scientist Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled researcher to join our team as a Principal Research Scientist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and leading research on sensor array and radar processing, with a focus on detection, localization, and tracking of active and passive targets in cellular networks under harsh urban conditions.

  • Developing theoretical methods and validating them experimentally.
  • Supervising junior researchers, conducting literature reviews, planning R&D activities, generating innovative concepts, and contributing to research proposals.
  • Administrative duties such as safety and asset management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field, with at least 15 years of research experience in RF communications, digital signal processing, wireless communications, RF array processing, and radar signal processing.

  • Proven research track record with publications and patents.
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and C++.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with Ettus USRP devices, GNU Radio, and LabVIEW.
  • Excellent proposal, report, and publication writing skills.
