Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join our team. As a Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing storage log information, reporting, and providing suggestions for configuration optimization based on customer requirements.

You will also perform provisioning configuration reviews, test and verify configuration changes, and generate regular operational reports using customer-supplied tools.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze storage log information
  • Review and optimize provisioning configurations
  • Test and verify configuration changes
  • Generate operational reports using customer-supplied tools
  • Participate in capacity measurement and planning
  • Identify and address vulnerabilities on Huawei's storage hardware and software products
  • Contribute to technical planning for future initiatives
  • Develop recommendations for customers to improve operational, technical, or support areas
  • Increase customer understanding and knowledge of storage solutions
  • Hold review meetings with customers to discuss engagement status and satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in an IT storage environment
  • Familiarity with storage environments and hands-on experience with storage configuration and data migration
  • Strong technical skills in disaster recovery, backup solutions, and data migration
  • Excellent communication and customer focus skills
