Transforming the Future of Manufacturing
Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Smart Manufacturing Business Analyst to join our Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining, driving, and delivering end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions that integrate across functions of the business.
About the Role
In this exciting role, you will work closely with our internal team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers, as well as engaging external suppliers, to design, analyze, and implement data science solutions and smart manufacturing applications. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of data science, AI, and machine learning, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders within Micron to ensure positive impact and sustainable results from our Smart Manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of projects, Machine Learning applications, and IIOTs for Smart Manufacturing through supplier engagement.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to design, execute, and deliver projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teams.
- Develop an understanding in the area of data science and machine learning and use these knowledge to execute the projects to ensure positive results.
- Define and implement supplier engagement and development strategies to enhance smart manufacturing capabilities in the equipment.
- Initiate supplier relationship including communication around intent and work closely with supplier's team in solution delivery.
- Communicate technical requirement to suppliers.
- Lead supplier engagement projects and activities that will require the coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams.
- Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities.
- Use metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Micron Technology, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
- Master's degree or at least 5 years of work experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Expertise in any front-end process areas are welcome to applied Photo-lithography, Dry Etch, CVD, PVD, Deposition, Diffusion, CMP, Wet, Implant, Metro, RDA or PI.
- Superb interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups. Work multi-functionally with peers and senior and mid-level management.
