Aerospace Non-Destructive Tester Role

Job Summary:

  • Conduct high-quality non-destructive testing inspections on aircraft and related components, ensuring prompt delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adherence to quality and safety standards while working on aircraft.
  • Document all work carried out on appropriate paperwork and sign off progressively.
  • Ensure the work area remains clean and orderly.
  • Adhere to regulatory and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Comply with airport regulations and procedures.
  • Be willing to undergo further training and qualification in additional NDT methods to progress to NDT Level 3.

Requirements:

  • Currently qualified to EN4179 Level 2 in at least two NDT methods (Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle inspection, Eddy-current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography).
  • Recent documented experience in aerospace NDT inspection.
  • Will to acquire certifying staff authorizations.
  • Willingness to travel for training and work purposes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and technical instructions.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently, be self-motivated, and flexible in their approach to work.
  • Will to up-skill and recertify on an ongoing basis.
  • Good sense of commercial awareness.
