About the Role

The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in AS400 COBOL development, boasting a minimum of 5 years of experience. Additional exposure to open systems is highly regarded.

We are seeking a talented individual who can effectively manage stakeholders and collaborate with other IT teams to deliver exceptional results.

In addition to technical expertise, we require someone with banking domain knowledge, specifically in trade finance and loan areas. This will enable them to contribute meaningfully to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • AS400 COBOL development: The selected candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality COBOL applications on the AS400 platform.
  • Project Management: We require a professional with excellent project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities and be able to effectively lead a team of at least 2-3 members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in AS400/COBOL programming, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, database design, and software development.
  • Banking or Insurance Application Software experience: Familiarity with banking or insurance application software would be an asset.
