Project Engineer Role Summary:

  • A Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the execution and coordination of various projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
">Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of LSS gas detectors in semiconductor facilities. They will also oversee the design, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems related to gas detection.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct wiring, grounding, and integration of gas detection sensors, alarms, and control panels, as well as conducting loop checks, functional testing, and calibration of instruments.

In addition, the Project Engineer will prepare and review technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics, maintain project documentation, and ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards.

They will also identify and resolve technical issues in gas detection systems and related instrumentation, provide support for maintenance teams to ensure system reliability, conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for gas detection installations, and adhere to EHS standards in all project activities.

Furthermore, the Project Engineer will perform site acceptance tests, commissioning procedures, and final system handover to clients, and provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering field
  • Experience in Semicon projects, LSS, or gas detection systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of E&I installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and control system integration a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
