The Structural Oversight Specialist will provide critical support to the Qualified Person under their direction.
This role is responsible for supervising structural works carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, collaborating with contractors' engineers/supervisors, conducting site inspections, verifying compliance with contract drawings and specifications, ensuring standing supervision for construction activities, and managing site staff or resident technical officers to deliver satisfactory supervision.
In addition, this role involves overseeing project-related aspects including record-keeping, meeting attendance, minute-taking, and coordination with consultants and external parties.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Ability to work under the Qualified Person's direction
- Liaise effectively with contractors' engineers/supervisors
- Support the Qualified Person on structural work management
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular site inspections
- Evaluate and verify structural and architectural work compliance
- Provide continuous site supervision and oversight
- Effectively manage and control site staff or resident technical officers
