We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test procedures, tester hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review circuit board designs for testability requirements
  • Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures, and downtime of test equipment
  • Prepare testing recommendations and document procedures from the product design phase through initial production
  • Generate reports and analyze test data, providing documentation and recommendations
  • Review test equipment designs, data, and RMA issues with customers regularly
  • Design and direct engineering and technical personnel in fabricating testing and test control apparatus and equipment
  • Coordinate activities related to development, procurement, installation, and calibration of testing instruments and equipment
  • Determine test conditions, sequences, and phases of operations
  • Control and oversee operational, functional, and performance phases of tests
  • Perform moderately complex engineering test assignments for standard and custom devices
  • Analyze and interpret test data, preparing technical reports for test engineering and management
  • Develop or utilize computer software and hardware for testing machinery and equipment
  • Maintain semi-routine testing techniques following Jabil standards, including ISO and QS
  • Provide training on new procedures to testing staff if needed
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and security procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with In-Circuit Tester (ICT) and Flying Probe Tester (AXI)
  • Experience fine-tuning test programs to resolve No Defect Found (NDF) issues and improve First Pass Yield (FPY)
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair testing machines during downtime
