The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Internal Compliance Officer to join our team. As an Internal Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing learner assessments, verifying trainer adherence to guidelines, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Audit and Review: Conduct regular audits of learner assessments, test papers, and related documents to ensure they meet internal standards and regulatory compliance.
  2. Verification: Verify that trainers have marked assessments accurately and consistently according to official marking schemes and rubrics.
  3. Discrepancy Identification: Identify discrepancies, incomplete marking, or procedural lapses in the evaluation process.
  4. Reporting: Prepare audit reports summarizing findings, non-compliance areas, and suggested corrective actions.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with trainers and curriculum developers to clarify assessment standards and improve consistency.
  6. Feedback: Provide feedback and recommend improvements to enhance assessment processes and documentation practices.
  7. Tracking and Follow-up: Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure resolution and compliance.
  8. Documentation: Ensure assessment documents are properly archived and audit-ready at all times.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Education, Business Administration, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Fresh graduates welcome - training provided. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with documentation, checklists, and spreadsheets.
  • Personal Qualities: Able to work independently and manage tasks in a structured and timely manner. Willingness to learn about academic compliance standards and contribute to process improvements.
