Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and build secure, scalable data pipelines for our next-generation Air Traffic Management platform.

This role involves leveraging modern cloud and data technologies to enable real-time, data-driven decision-making for safer and more efficient airspace operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS data services, proficiency in Python/Scala, and strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities include building robust batch and streaming pipelines, ensuring high-performance processing and transformation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support AI-ready architectures and advanced analytics.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize for performance vs. cost trade-offs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust batch and streaming pipelines using AWS, Databricks, and distributed processing tools.
  • Ensure high-performance processing, transformation, and storage with a focus on security, governance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Partner with data scientists, engineers, and aviation experts to support AI-ready architectures and advanced analytics.
  • Implement monitoring, automation, and fault-tolerant designs for mission-critical systems.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture.

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services.
    • Proficiency in Python/Scala and distributed frameworks like Spark.
    • Solid SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT skills.
    • Experience building scalable pipelines (batch/real-time).
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize for performance vs. cost trade-offs.
