About the Role

We are seeking a talented PhD Research Associate to join our team at SAP Labs Singapore under the Industry PhD Program (IPP). As an AI engineer, you will work on cutting-edge research projects in generative AI and machine learning, collaborating with our data scientists and developers to embed the latest advancements in AI/ML into our software products.

The successful candidate will be accepted into the PhD program by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and will gain industry exposure through projects with our data scientists and developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Push the frontiers of AI in an SAP-defined research project.
  • Explore and implement recent research approaches and find ways to improve them.
  • Understand business processes and assess the business relevance of AI solutions.
  • Create excellence in research results quality and system scalability.
Requirements
  • Acceptance to NUS PhD program.
  • Undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent fields.
  • Experience with machine and deep learning software packages and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, Scala.
