Advanced Software Engineer for Scalable Machine Learning Infrastructure

This role requires a seasoned software engineer to join our dynamic team. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure that empowers machine learning engineers and data scientists to rapidly experiment with and innovate deep learning models.
In this position, you will lead the re-architecture of our platform for remote ML experiments, improving agility and efficiency in our development lifecycle. You will also contribute to broader infrastructure enhancements, ensuring our training ecosystem remains cutting-edge and robust.
Job Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Engineers and Data Scientists: Design and implement tools and processes that streamline the ML development lifecycle.
- Design, Develop, and Optimize Infrastructure: Use Kubernetes to develop and optimize our core infrastructure.
- Champion Best Practices: Promote best practices in software engineering within the ML platform.
- Take Ownership: Own key infrastructure components and initiatives.
- Mentor Junior Engineers: Mentor junior engineers in system design and code reviews.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Software Engineering Principles: Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and distributed systems.
- Programming Languages: Expertise in Python or Go programming languages.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms.
- Kubernetes: Experience with Kubernetes.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Mentoring Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
