Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to produce high-quality stone products.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in manufacturing principles and practices, with experience working with various types of stone products. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate bridge-cutting machines and other equipment to cut and process stone products.
  • Use profiling/polishing machines to refine and finish stone surfaces.
  • Grind and polish edges with portable power tools to achieve smooth finishes.
  • Color match resin glues to ensure consistent results.
  • Seal natural stones like Granite after fabrication.
  • Self-inspect work quality and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean equipment and workstation after each use.
Requirements:
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Adaptable and able to adjust to changing production schedules.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Possess craftsman-level skills using portable power tools and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines is an asset.
  • Knowledge of stone surfaces and properties is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of adhesives, solvents, and other materials used in fabrication.
