The Senior Loan Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lending lifecycle, from loan origination to servicing coordination. This includes onboarding clients, managing data, and ensuring quality control.

  • Support loan origination and lifecycle management for large complex syndicated and bilateral loans.
  • Collaborate with business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain data quality, process controls, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage deal closing pipeline, coordinate transactions, and perform quality checks.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Job Summary

The Senior Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for leading end-to-end lending processes, ensuring seamless execution, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies for efficient loan origination and lifecycle management.

- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

- Maintain accurate records, adhere to regulatory requirements, and ensure data integrity.

- Manage deal pipelines, coordinate transactions, and conduct quality assurance checks.

- Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to enhance process efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in wholesale loan products (syndicated/bilateral) with a deep understanding of legal documentation, deal structures, and funding mechanics.

Skills

- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Understanding of corporate and regulatory policies for lending.

- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Desirable

- Experience with operational processes in wholesale lending.

- Familiarity with Tableau/visualization tools.

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
