Robotics Innovation Manager

This cutting-edge project focuses on designing a high-performance robotic nursing platform for smart hospital systems. The primary objective is to enhance the efficiency of human nurses, enabling them to concentrate on complex tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing a multifunctional robotic nursing platform with emphasis on patient care and clinical logistics.
  • Designing a robust control system utilizing foundation models or reinforcement learning for interactive navigation and human–robot interaction.
  • Deploying and evaluating the developed platform in a real-world hospital setting to assess its effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should possess relevant academic qualifications, experience in robotic control, perception models, and software development skills.

Necessary Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in robotic control, particularly in reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
  • Proficiency in advanced perception models and numerical methods, including optimization, linear algebra, and geometry processing.
  • Hands-on experience in real-world robotics deployment and addressing the simulation-to-real-world gap.
  • Excellent analytical and computational skills, as well as knowledge of software engineering principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong desire to explore new ideas.
Desirable Skills:
  • Publication history in the robotics domain.
  • Experience working on open-source software projects.
