Job Description

DAEWOO-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with various stakeholders, including LTA System Wide Contractor and Department Heads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with Client and respective personnel/LTA System Wide Contractor on the coordination of construction and consolidate action items and report back to Department Heads.
  • Installation Programme: Prepare the coordinated installation programme (CIP) and obtain sign-off from all parties.
  • Design Integration: Manage the integration of E&M SWC designs into civil/structural/architectural designs, ensuring authorities' requirements are met.
  • Permit Application: Responsible for the application of permits and liaise with respective local authorities on issues pertaining to permits for commencement of works/diversion of existing services.
  • Schedule Management: Plan, prepare, and update the schedule for the submission of samples/shop drawings/method statements.
  • Change Management: Raise CSD/SEM changes queries in the event of services clashing. Prepare and obtain approval for final CSD/SEM drawings and sign off SWCs prior to construction.
  • Construction Drawings: Assist Coordination Manager to issue all construction drawings and approved sign-off drawings to related stations/tunnels for construction and prepare M&E procurement schedule and update periodically.
  • Meetings and Progress: Required to attend coordination/progress/technical meetings.
  • Scheduling and Review: Schedule overall M&E services works and review construction programme.
  • As-built Information: Coordinate with M&E Supervisors for the preparation of as-built information and submit to SWC Coordinator for review.
  • Coordinated Programme: Prepare and schedule for coordinated programme for M&E works.
  • Site Inspection: Carry out weekly site inspection and report progress, quality, specifications, protection, and problems.
  • Coordination Drawings: Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to issue drawings for approval.
  • Team Management: Responsible for managing a team of M&E coordinators and BIM Modellers in design and coordination works.
  • Interfacing and Document Control: Interface or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawings.
  • Construction and Interfacing Documents: Coordinating, organizing, and preparing construction and interfacing/M&E documents and drawings.
  • Specifications and Quality: Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
  • Technical and Site Problems:
  • Progress Supervision: Supervise the progress of works on site.
  • Sub-contractor Coordination: Coordinate sub-contractor's work and ensure the work is on schedule.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in M&E.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as E&M Coordinator in large-scale projects, MRT project (LTA).
  • Skills: Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Time Management: Good time management skill and able to work under pressure.
