Job Overview
PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY SERVICES seeks a skilled Nursing Team Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality geriatric care in our facilities.
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in nursing homes, geriatric wards, or hospitals, with a strong background in gerontology and community nursing. A diploma or bachelor's degree in nursing is required, along with registration with the Singapore Nursing Board and valid BCLS + AED certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective care plans, coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior nurses, providing guidance and direction to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with MOH, ENHS, and clinical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments and allied services to develop staff training programs, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and competencies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Certificate in Gerontology
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Valid BCLS + AED Certification
- 2-3 years of experience in nursing homes, geriatric wards, or hospitals
- Advanced/Specialist Diploma in Geriatric/Community Nursing (an added advantage)
