We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Engine MRO client as a Trainee Technician.

This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring aircraft engine technicians who wish to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in the aviation industry.

Job Description

The Trainee Technician will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes initial company familiarisation, classroom training, and on-the-job training. The program aims to equip the technician with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a qualified aircraft engine technician.

The traineeship involves a fully-sponsored training programme with an allowance over the one-year training period. Upon successful completion of the programme, the trainee will serve a two-year or four-year bond.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Trainee Technician will participate in classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, conducted by an external training academy.
  • The nine-month on-the-job training provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Engines.
  • The Trainee Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to aircraft engine maintenance, including troubleshooting, assembly, and calibration.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Electrical/Precision)
  • Completed full-time National Service (for locals)
  • Able to perform rotating shift work
  • Willing to work in Changi
